Hungerball Soccer

You will need a regular soccer ball and an inflatable circular Hungerball arena- some kind of a circular bouncing castle- in order to play this game. The arena has 5 goal openings that are evenly spaced around the arena’s circumference. This is a social game because it involves 6 players; five goalkeepers who defend each of the 5 goals and one attacker who plays from the center and tries to score in any of the 5 goals.

The game starts with the attacker standing at the center in possession of the ball, then all the goalkeepers advance towards him/her with the goal of pushing him/her as far away from the goal as possible. Note that none of the players has the right to touch the ball with their hands not unless it rolls out of the field of play. The attacker gains a point when he/she scores and then trades places with the goalkeeper who he/she scored against. That keeper does not only become the attacker but also loses a point.

Ideally, a Thunderball game should last 15 minutes, with the players ranked from 1st to 6th depending on how many points one earned before the game time ran out.

Paintball

Ditch your old work out plan and embrace the coolest sport in town- paintball. This game involves players who shoot at each other using paintball guns. It is fun when you play as a team, although some people opt to play with every man for himself. The goal here is to dodge “bullets” and shoot as many participants as possible. A player becomes inactive after he/she is shot. And because the sport involves a lot of diving, sprinting, and crawling- fundamentally all warzone stuff, it gives you the chance to have a full-body workout while having fun with people closest to your heart.

Croquet

This sport used to be popular in the mid-20th century but it has gradually been forgotten as more exciting, new sports continue to be discovered. Many people nowadays have never heard of it, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. Traditionally, croquet was played casually in the backyard, especially during family parties. It requires participants to play balls through gates, mostly by hitting them with mallets. Once a player plays his/her balls through all the gates, he/she is then required to hit his/her ball off the center peg in order to win the game.

Swamp soccer

This is ordinary soccer only that it isn’t played on a regular soccer pitch. It involves getting yourself dirty in a giant pool of muddy water. All normal soccer rules are applied here. Good luck finding your stability in the absence of grass.

Yankball

A yankball can be a special spherical ball or just an ordinary soccer ball. The goal here is to bounce the yankball into 3 feet by 6 feet box that’s painted on a wall, 4 feet above the floor. The game involves two opposing teams that comprise of four players each. A point is scored when the ball bounces into the painted box, with the team that scores the most points within a 40-minute period winning the game. Note that the ball cannot be kicked into the goal. It can only be passed around by running, throwing, or heading it towards the goal or to a member of your team. It is also illegal to pass the ball backward.

Conclusion

Did you find any of your favorite sports on the list? Probably not. It is now time to ditch the big five sports- hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, and football- and explore other fun sports. The mainstream sports aren’t necessarily fun by the way.
